Nexus Minerals (ASX:NXM) reports ‘high-grade’ drilling results from the Templar Prospect within its Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia.
Final assay results from 22 reverse circulation (RC) holes (1,810m) at Templar returned intercepts including 7m @ 7.53 grams per tonne Au, including 1m @ 41.27g/t Au, within 23m @ 2.39g/t Au from 48m.
Other results include 6m @ 5.63g/t Au, including 1m @ 15.29g/t Au, within 11m @ 3.17g/t Au from 51m, and 3m @ 4.16g/t Au within 8m at 1.83g/t Au from 40m.
The ‘high-grade’ structure extends previous strong intercepts at Templar, including 7m @ 18.68g/t gold, including 2m @ 43.53g/t Au, within 29m @ 5.29g/t Au from 31m, and 1m @ 57.10g/t Au within 12m @ 5.04g/t Au from 39m.
Managing Director Andy Tudor says the results confirm valuable extensions to the shallow, ‘high-grade’ structure.
“These are excellent, high-grade results from the northern Templar component of the Crusader-Templar Deposit. Drilling targeted extensions to a shallow, high-grade structure and the results have confirmed these valuable extensions,” Tudor notes.
“Importantly, this structure remains open to the north, providing ongoing clear mineralisation upside.”
The Crusader-Templar Deposit hosts a mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 5.7 million tonnes @ 1.7g/t Au for 304,000 ounces. The deposit sits within a structural corridor between Northern Star Resources’ (ASX:NST) Carosue Dam and Porphyry gold operations.
Nexus has now reported Assay results for 171 of 196 RC holes, with outstanding results expected by the end of August.
An updated multi-prospect Wallbrook MRE, incorporating Clement, Payns, Branches, and an upgraded Crusader-Templar resource, is targeted for completion by the end of the September quarter.
Nexus Minerals is a Perth-based resource company advancing a diversified portfolio focused on gold, copper, and critical minerals across Western Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales.
