Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) is in a “strong position” for the completion of a Prefeasibility Study for the Minyari Dome Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia for 2026, Executive Chairperson Mark Rodda says.
The PFS, scheduled for completion in June 2026, will support further de-risking Minyari Dome, as well as refine its development opportunity.
Speaking to Mining.com.au, Rodda says Antipa is focused on targeting further resource growth proximate to Minyari Dome and ongoing regional exploration across its tenement package – “in what is unquestionably a hot jurisdiction”.
A further 35,000m of discovery-focused drilling is yet to be completed, with resource definition drilling for the upcoming PFS already complete.
Earlier this month, recent drilling at Minyari highlighted the growth potential of the project’s system, forming “broader intersections that exceed 100 gold-gram-metres”, as reported.
Rodda notes that 2025 has been a pivotal year for the company, marked by progress across multiple fronts including at a corporate level, PFS advancement, and exploration programs.
“Further, we strengthened our technical and corporate capabilities, enhancing the team’s ability to transition from exploration towards development,” he tells this news service.

The Minyari Copper-Gold Project contains a resource of 2.5 million ounces of gold, 84,000 tonnes of copper, 666,000 ounces of silver, and 13,000 tonnes of cobalt.
Copper futures are up 19.85% higher than a year ago, according to Trading Economics. At the time of writing, copper’s price sat at around US$4.96 per ounce.
Meanwhile, gold’s spot price is up 53.68% higher than a year ago, despite falling to around US$4,060 an ounce at the time of writing.
Rodda says “unsurprisingly, Antipa remains confident in the medium- to long-term outlook for both gold and copper”.
Antipa Minerals is a mineral developer and explorer focused on discoveries prospective for gold-copper-silver in Western Australia.
