Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) Managing Director Roger Mason says the company is consistently adding value to its Minyari Gold-Copper Project in Western Australia, amid a second phase drilling program underway.
A combination of aircore, reverse circulation, and diamond drilling – comprising 25,000 to 35,000m – is set to be carried out at Minyari.
This news comes after a phase one drilling program was completed, with the third batch of assay results delivering up to 520 gram-metres in new zones.
The program targeted expanding the existing near-surface 2.4 million ounce Minyari Dome gold resource, as well as test greenfield targets and advance Prefeasibility Study workstreams.
Some of the latest results include 33m @ 15.8 grams per tonne gold and 0.28% copper from 96m, including 1m @ 41.6g/t gold from 114m, 3m @ 150g/t gold, and 1m @ 395g/t gold.
Managing Director Roger Mason says the Fiama prospect remains open in multiple directions, with many new holds delivering “outstanding” grades and meaningful extensions.
“Together with discovery success at Rizzo and the rapid progress of our Prefeasibility Study (PFS) drilling, we are consistently adding value to our Minyari Gold-Copper Project,” Mason says.
“We firmly believe that the combination of increasing near-surface high-grade gold hits, a large pipeline of high-quality new discovery targets and a clearly defined pathway to production positions Antipa as one of Australia’s most compelling gold investment opportunities.”
To date, results have been received for 59 out of 61 holes, with some holes only partially returned.
Any expansion to the existing resource is expected to deliver additional value enhancement to the company’s existing development opportunity at Minyari Dome. The resource update is scheduled for completion in October 2025.
The company notes a PFS is also scheduled for completion in June 2026. Various PFS technical and non-technical workstreams have been advanced to further de-risk and refine the development opportunity at Minyari Dome, while advancing the permitting process.
Further, a PFS resource definition program will begin in September 2025.
