EcoJoule Energy has appointed former NOJA Power executive Martin van der Linde as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer.

As CCO, van der Linde (pictured left) will lead EcoJoule’s global commercial strategy including market expansion, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
With more than 13 years in various roles with NOJA Power, van der Linde is a seasoned management, marketing, and engineering executive with extensive international expertise.
He has presented to executives, engineers, conferences, and training audiences across 23 countries. He has also been published in eight industry magazines on topics related to power systems, utilities, and the broader energy sector.
Martin van der Linde is a member of Engineers Australia and a member of the Electrical Energy Society of Australia.
CEO Mike Wishart says van der Linde brings a rare combination of engineering depth and commercial acumen, which is exactly what EcoJoule needs as it scales.
“His ability to apply engineering principles to marketing and commercial strategy will be instrumental in accelerating our growth both in Australia and internationally,” Wishart says.
van der Linde adds that EcoJoule is at the forefront of solving one of the most critical challenges facing modern electricity networks.
“I’m excited to help scale the company’s commercial operations and bring its innovative technologies to more markets globally,” he says.
EcoJoule is playing a key role in enabling a more stable, resilient, and renewable-ready electricity grid. EcoJoule Energy’s technology platforms include pole-mounted community energy storage units that store the excess solar energy generated by residents for later use, and a voltage regulation device to help integrate more renewables into the grid.
