Larvotto Resources - Clarks Gully tungsten gold antimony mineralisation

Larvotto extends mineralisation at Clarks Gully

Larvotto Resources (ASX:LRV) reports further ‘high-grade’ antimony-gold-tungsten intersections from diamond drilling at its Clarks Gully prospect in New South Wales.

Assays were received from holes CLG138 to CLG141, part of a 16-hole program testing mineralisation continuity below and along strike of the mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 647,000 tonnes at 1.60% antimony (Sb) and 2.10 grams per tonne gold (Au).

Holes CLG140 and CLG141 intersected the interpreted ore shoot beyond the existing resource model, with mineralisation remaining open at depth. CLG140 returned 32m @ 5.68g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) from 260m, including 8m @ 13.77g/t AuEq from 284m.

Meanwhile, CLG141 delivered 29.1m @ 6.06g/t AuEq from 339.4m, including 8.7m @ 14.83g/t AuEq from 349.3m. Larvotto notes that the hole extends the mineralised footprint approximately 100m down plunge at depth and along strike of the 2025 Clarks Gully MRE.

Multiple new hanging wall lodes were also identified at depth in CLG141, including 4.4m @ 12.81g/t AuEq from 157.8m, incorporating 0.4m @ 90.99g/t AuEq from 161.8m.

Larvotto says ‘high-grade’ tungsten mineralisation also persists at depth and south of the Clarks Gully resource estimate. CLG141 intersected 0.4m @ 11.13% tungsten trioxide (WO3) from 161.8m and 0.8m @ 9.47% WO3 from 219.8m.

Managing Director Ron Heeks says the results continue to highlight the potential to expand the current resource.

“Interestingly, what we are seeing is the gold and tungsten grades appear to be increasing with depth,” Heeks notes.

“The potential for significant tungsten along with the already-excellent gold and antimony grades certainly reinforces the potential of the orebody.”

Larvotto has initiated permitting for a low-footprint underground operation at Clarks to bring the project online as a secondary feed source for the Hillgrove plant.

Geological modelling is underway, and upon receipt of final assays from holes CLG142 and CLG143, Larvotto intends to provide an updated Clarks Gully MRE.

The company is also planning follow-up drilling to test open extensions at depth and along strike.

Larvotto Resources is advancing its portfolio of minerals projects in New South Wales and across Australia.
