Larvotto Resources (ASX:LRV) has delivered 68 tonnes of antimony concentrate from its Hillgrove Mine in New South Wales to offtake partner Wogen Resources.
The shipment marks the operation’s first delivery, meeting a condition for part-payment under the offtake agreement and marking Hillgrove’s transition to a revenue-generating mine.
Managing Director Ron Heeks says the delivery is “a proud moment for the company, as Hillgrove becomes a revenue-generating mine and officially Australia’s newest supplier of critical minerals.”
Plant availability is reportedly exceeding schedule, with processing tonnages increasing and concentrate grades improving.
“With the antimony circuit now operating at a steady rate, we will broaden our focus to optimise gold concentrate and gold doré production,” Heeks says.
The operation is designed to produce approximately 4,900 tonnes of antimony and 40,500 ounces of gold per annum, while tungsten metallurgy test work continues in Australia and Canada ahead of planned processing in 2027.
“This is a key milestone for Australia’s critical mineral and mining sector and is also significant for the New England region, supporting local jobs, businesses, and economic activity,” Heeks says.
“We all look forward to the shipment of the first gold concentrate and production of the first gold bars in the near term.”
Larvotto Resources is advancing its portfolio of mineral projects in NSW and elsewhere across Australia.
