Kairos name change to go ahead with consolidation

Kairos Minerals (ASX:KAI) has received the go-ahead from shareholders to change its name to Pilbara Gold, under the ticker code ‘PGL’, along with a consolidation of securities.

The company’s shareholders met for a general meeting yesterday (30 March), with a majority voting in favour of the name change and consolidation.

The name change is expected to be completed on or around 13 April for trading, following approval from the ASX and ASIC.

Kairos will consolidate every 15 shares held into one share under the consolidation, with an effective date of today.

Post-consolidation trading will begin on 15 April 2026.

As reported by Mining.com.au, Managing Director Peter Turner explains the name change to be a reflection of the company’s sole focus on gold in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Kairos Minerals is focused on advancing its flagship Mt York Project, along with its portfolio of gold projects in the Pilbara and Eastern Goldfields.
