Eclipse Metals (ASX:EPM) intends to establish priority rare earths, industrial mineral and sulphide mineral targets at the Ivigtût Project in Greenland, after completing a diamond drilling program.
The company plans to integrate visual core logging with historical rare earths laboratory data and existing bulk sample results to establish the targets.
Selected core intervals for laboratory analysis will be dispatched, with results expected in Q1 2026. Once received all datasets will be integrated into the evolving rare earths and polymetallic models.
Eclipse Metals, which has a market capitalisation of $65.61 million, intends to also advance metallurgical and mineralogical testwork programs next year, in conjunction with continuing development planning for the Grønnedal resource.
A total of 503m of diamond drilling in two holes targeting the Ivigtût intrusive has been completed. Core logging confirmed a polymetallic, rare earths-fertile system with strong carbonatite-related alteration.

Eclipse says the presence of fluorite-topaz mineralisation suggests that Ivigtût is a ‘highly evolved’, magmatic-hydrothermal system.
The frequent occurrences of sulphide minerals, including galena, sphalerite, pyrite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite, supports the polymetallic character of the deposit.
The Grønnedal and Ivigtût projects provide Eclipse with exposure to two critical mineral domains under one Greenland licence. Both areas align with Greenland’s Mineral Resources Strategy 2025-2029, which prioritises sustainable development and international investment in critical minerals to support energy transition initiatives in Europe and North America.
