Iltani Resources approves drilling at Orient Project

Iltani Resources (ASX:ILT) is preparing to start earthworks for initial phase reverse circulation drilling at its Orient Silver-Indium Project, 20km west of Herberton.

Iltani has awarded a drilling contract to Eagle Drilling NQ. A bulldozer is mobilised to site and a further two reverse circulation drilling rigs will follow. Work is expected to start the week beginning 13 April 2026.

Infill drilling at up to 115 defined resource areas is promised to improve resource category and extensions to the known minerals. Orient North, Vein 1, VTEM, and other targets will be tested. All holes have been pegged and are awaiting pad preparation.

Environmental sampling is underway and a mining lease application will be submitted in due course.

A structural geologist assessed the diamond core in March 2026, and will return to site in April to perform field mapping activities.

“We have mobilised a bulldozer to commence the earthworks for the Orient RC drilling program, and the drilling contractor will be onsite and ready to commence drilling on 13 April 2026,” lIltani Managing Director Donald Garner says.

“We are confident that we can make up for the time we have lost and complete the drilling programs as designed.”

Iltani Resources is a critical minerals and metals exploration and development company with assets mostly based in North Queensland.
