Greentech Metals (ASX:GRE) reports ‘high-grade’ copper-gold-silver results from diamond drilling at its Whundo Project in Western Australia.
Diamond drill hole 26GTDD016 returned 4.76m @ 7.13% copper (Cu), 1.20% zinc (Zn), 0.88 grams per tonne gold (Au), and 29.6g/t silver (Ag) from 367m at the Ayshia deposit.
The intersection includes 3.44m @ 9.43% Cu, 1.59% Zn, 1.2g/t Au, and 39.7g/t Ag from 367.62m.
The intersection extends mineralisation about 65m down plunge beyond the Ayshia mineral resource estimate (MRE) envelope and represents the ‘highest-average-grade’ multi-metre copper intersection identified at Ayshia to date.
It occurs within 6.85m of visually logged chalcopyrite-rich massive to semi-massive sulphides from 366.07m to 372.92m, comprising abundant chalcopyrite with pyrite, pyrrhotite, and minor sphalerite.
Historical drilling at Ayshia has shown increasing copper tenor down plunge, including 23.7m @ 3.19% Cu and 0.39% Zn from 209m in 12AYDD103. The mineralised system remains open at depth.
The Ayshia deposit hosts an MRE of 0.9 million tonnes (Mt) @ 1.3% Cu and 2.3% Zn, part of the Whundo Project MRE of 6.2Mt @ 1.12% Cu and 1.04% Zn.
Greentech has completed drilling at Yannery and Austin, with assay results expected in October 2026.
The company plans downhole electromagnetic surveying of 26GTDD016 to target the down-plunge extension at Ayshia, with an updated MRE targeted for the December quarter 2026.
