Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) has changed its ticker symbol on the OTC Markets to CEXYFF, following changing its name from Giant Mining.
The OTC symbol change reflects the company’s continued transition to its new corporate identity and strategic focus on copper exploration and development.
CEO David Greenway says the transition marks another step in the company’s evolution as a North American copper-focused explorer.
“We believe copper will play a critical role in supporting electrification, AI data centre growth, renewable energy systems, grid modernisation, and large-scale infrastructure spending across the US,” Greenway says.
“Our goal is to position Copper One to capitalise on these long-term macro trends through the advancement of high-potential copper assets in mining-friendly jurisdictions.”
Earlier this year, the company proposed the name change to better align with broader market interests in critical minerals.
Copper One also recently began drilling at the Redhill Copper-Zinc Project in British Columbia, Canada. Drilling will test priority volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) targets, as well as follow up on historical drilling and geophysical work.
The program comprises 3,000m of diamond drilling across 10 holes.
Copper One Resources is focused on identifying, acquiring, and advancing late-stage copper, silver, and gold projects.
