Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) has begun drilling at the Redhill Copper-Zinc Project in British Columbia, to test priority volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) targets.
The phase one program will follow up on historical drilling and geophysical work that identified copper-zinc and gold-silver mineralisation, hydrothermal alteration, and prospective sulphides-bearing volcanic units.
Up to 3,000m of diamond drilling across 10 holes will be completed at Redhill.
CEO David Greenway says the company believes Redhill is a “highly prospective” VMS exploration opportunity in British Columbia.
“This program represents an important milestone for Copper One as we continue building a diversified portfolio of copper-focused exploration assets in top-tier mining jurisdictions,” Greenway says.
“With strong geological indicators, historical mineralisation, and multiple untested targets, we believe Redhill has the potential to deliver significant exploration upside.”
More about Copper One
Copper One has engaged Paradigm Drilling to deploy a diamond drill. Initial drill pads have been permitted and are being prepared, with step-out drilling planned. Step-out drilling will evaluate the continuity of VMS-style copper-zinc mineralisation along prioritised structural and geophysical trends.
Redhill comprises 18 mineral claims totalling 11,703 acres — representing a large contiguous land package in a well-established mining region.
Copper One recently changed its name from Giant Mining to better align with its strategic repositioning.
Copper One Resources is focused on identifying, acquiring, and advancing late-stage copper, silver, and gold projects.
