Giant move to become Copper One this week

Giant Mining (CSE:BFG) will begin trading under the name Copper One Resources on the Canadian Securities Exchange as of 29 April 2026.

As reported by Mining.com.au last week, the company announced its intention to change names, while also consolidating common shares under a 10-for-1 basis in parallel.

The company will have around 23.72 million shares issued and outstanding, following the completion of the consolidation.

Giant will continue to trade under the ticker ‘BFG’ following the name change.

The company says the decision to change its name aligns with its strategic repositioning to “enhance its visibility within the copper sector”

Giant says the new name will better align with broader market interest in critical minerals supporting electrification and energy transition initiatives.

Giant Mining is focused on identifying, acquiring, and advancing late-stage copper, silver, and gold projects, including its flagship asset, the Majuba Hill Project, located in Nevada, US.
