Copper One appoints Nevada geologist for Majuba Hill

Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) has appointed Sebastien Bricka as project lead and chief geologist for its Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Pershing County, Nevada, US.

Bricka will oversee the company’s 1,219m phase two drill program and design follow-up drilling aimed at establishing a National Instrument (NI) 43-101-compliant mineral resource estimate (MRE).

He brings more than nine years of exploration experience across Nevada and the western US, including geological mapping, sampling, modelling, and drill target development.

Based in Reno, Bricka has worked as a project geologist with RESPEC since 2023. Previously, he spent four years with Integra Resources (TSX-V:ITR) and worked as a contract geologist with Rangefront Geological in Elko.

Bricka holds a Bachelor of Science in geological and earth sciences/geosciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Copper One President and CEO David Greenway says Bricka’s Nevada experience and familiarity with the Great Basin will be valuable as the company prepares to begin drilling.

“We look forward to working closely with Sebastien to build upon the substantial body of geological data collected at Majuba Hill, refine our understanding of the project’s copper-silver-gold mineralised system and advance toward our ultimate objective of establishing an NI 43-101-compliant MRE,” Greenway says.

Four drill pads and associated sites are ready for phase two. Assays remain pending from phase one drilling, completed earlier this summer.

Majuba Hill covers about 3,919 hectares and contains a past-producing copper mine, with approximately 27,248m of historical drilling.

Copper One Resources is a mineral explorer advancing Majuba Hill in Nevada, US, and the wholly owned Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in British Columbia, Canada.
