Cazaly Resources (ASX:CAZ) is continuing follow up work at the Duchess and Duke of York prospects with reverse circulation drilling to delineate mineralisation identified within an initial drilling campaign across the Goongarrie Gold Project in Western Australia.
The Duke of York prospect returned grades of 56.3 grams per tonne gold, 41.9g/t gold, and 15.9g/t gold from 1m samples, with gold bearing veins plunging to the south.
The company recently announced intercepts including 12m @ 7.2 grams per tonne gold from 24m downhole including 4m @ 19g/t, and 8m @ 3.8g/t gold confirming historical drilling at the prospect, as reported by Mining.com.au.
Cazaly has also identified mineralisation associated with a broader shear zone in the mafic-ultramafic sequence at the Duchess prospect.
Drilling returned 2m @ 6.6g/t with micro quartz veins parallel to shear fabric and pervasive alteration, marking the prospect separate from Duke of York as the greater project holds potential for both styles of gold mineralisation.
Cazaly says this discovery deems the Goongarrie Project as suitable for open pit and underground development.
Meanwhile, the company intends to test for new gold targets along the Boorara and Menzies shear zones with an upcoming aircore drilling program spanning a 5km strike in Q3 2025.
The company will also refine target generation as it continues to interpret recently returned aeromagnetic data to incorporate existing and new drill data.
Cazaly Resources is a junior explorer with a portfolio of assets spanning Australia, Canada, and Namibia.
