Cazaly Resources (ASX:CAZ) is seeking additional gold targets at the group’s Goongarrie Project in Western Australia, due to be tested during the next round of reverse circulation drilling.
This news comes after the company began an aircore drilling program at the Goongarrie Project. The initial phase of drilling is on a broad 80m by 80m grid and will be reduced to 40m where required in areas of interest.
Cazaly, which has a market capitalisation of $10.84 million, says the program is designed to test high priority areas along the Menzies shear corridor in zones of structural complexity around magnetic anomalies.
Drilling is also designed to support defining the extent of the gold mineralisation at the Duchess prospect.
This news comes after Cazaly began drilling to delineate mineralisation uncovered with an initial drilling campaign across Goongarrie, as previously reported.
The Duke of York prospect returned grades of 56.3 grams per tonne gold, 41.9g/t gold, and 15.9g/t gold from 1m samples, with gold bearing veins plunging to the south.
The Goongarrie Project, located in the northeastern goldfields, covers 12km of the Bardoc Tectonic Zone which is the northern extension of the Boulder-Lefroy Shear Zone to the south – one of the richest gold mineralised structures in the Yilgarn Craton.
Cazaly Resources is a mineral explorer focused on its asset portfolio in Australia, Canada, and Namibia.
