Carnavale prepares for Kookynie’s next drilling phase

Carnavale Resources (ASX:CAV) is awaiting drilling results to be returned in January 2025 from a recently completed reverse circulation program, to inform the next phase of drilling within the Kookynie Gold Project in Western Australia.

An upcoming drilling program is set to follow shortly after.

Carnavale, which has a market capitalisation of $20.45 million, aimed to test the down dip extensions to the Swiftsure bonanza gold grade shoots that contain more than 30 grams per tonne gold within the resource.

The company also tested the Tiptoe prospect, which sits along strike from Swiftsure and southern extensions of the Swiftsure mineralisation. The Valiant prospect will be tested in next year’s drilling program.

Reverse circulation samples have been submitted to the laboratory, while the diamond core has been logged and photographed onsite. The samples are currently being cut and sampled prior to being submitted to the laboratory.

Drilling comprised 21 holes for 4,798m of reverse circulation drilling and eight diamond tails for 545m of diamond drilling.

The Kookynie Gold Project is located 60km south of Leonora and 150km north of Kalgoorlie in Yilgarn Craton of Western Australia.

Carnavale Resources is a Western Australia-based mineral explorer focused on acquiring and exploring areas prospective for gold, nickel, platinum group elements, and strategic minerals.
