Carnavale completes drilling ahead of BFS

Carnavale Resources (ASX:CAV) has completed its reverse circulation and diamond drilling programs at the Kookynie Gold Project in Western Australia, with results to support the Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) that commenced in December 2025.

The drill programs that have been completed to date for the BFS includes six diamond drillholes which recovered 150kg of core for metallurgical testwork and eight geotechnical diamond holes for detailed geotechnical analysis for the Swiftsure and Tiptoe pits.

Infill reverse circulation drilling has been done on a 10m x 10m pattern for about 8,500m across Swiftsure and Tiptoe’s proposed open pit developments, with results expected in the coming four weeks.

Samples from the RC drilling will also provide material for metallurgical variability testwork and waste rock characterisation studies.

CEO Humphrey Hale says that the fieldwork conducted over the past five weeks has been intensive, “with three drill rigs working around the clock at the Kookynie Gold Project to provide detailed geochemical, geotechnical, metallurgical, and updated resource drilling to inform our rapidly progressing BFS”.

Carnavale will commence the final stage of the BFS drilling program in March 2026, with the commencement of production water bores and associated monitoring bores.

Carnavale Resources is a mineral exploration company based in West Australia, focused on acquiring and exploring high quality and advanced exploration and development projects in gold, nickel, PGE, and other strategic minerals.
