Brighstar Resources Sandstone Gold Project

Brightstar’s Sandstone delivers ‘high-grade’ intercepts

Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) reports ‘high-grade’ assays from diamond and reverse circulation drilling at its 2.4 million ounce Sandstone Gold Project in Western Australia, ahead of an imminent mineral resource update.

The company completed drilling across key deposits — including Achilles, Indomitable East, Bull Oak, Two Mile Hill-Shillington, Montague-Boulder, and Whistler — to support infill programs and an ongoing Prefeasibility Study (PFS).

Significant results include 9m @ 4.50 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 120m at Achilles, 15m @ 3.41g/t Au from 90m at Indomitable East, and 239.7m @ 0.47g/t Au from 5.5m at Bull Oak.

Other key results include 191.53m @ 0.95g/t Au from 65m at Two Mile Hill, 20.16m @ 1.64g/t Au from 103.84m at Whistler, 2.2m @ 6.44g/t Au from 85.75 at Montague-Boulder, and 9.5m @ 3.56g/t Au from 40.5m at Achilles.

Managing Director Alex Rovira says the results validate the quality, scale, and development upside of the project.

“The drilling at Bull Oak confirms high-grade continuity at depth within extensive lower-grade mineralised envelopes, emulating the geology and mineralisation observed at Two Mile Hill-Shillington and highlighting genuine bulk-tonnage potential across these two deposits — both within 5km from the proposed plant site,” Rovira says.

Brighstar confirms a mineral resource update is due in the coming weeks, while the PFS is targeted for delivery in the second half of 2026.

Meanwhile, reverse circulation drilling has been completed at the Goldfields Hub’s Lord Byron deposit ahead of open pit mining later in 2026, with assays pending.

Brightstar Resources is a gold producer and developer with assets in WA.
