Amaroq Minerals (AIM:AMRQ) has installed and commissioned a flotation recovery circuit at the processing unit of the Nalunaq Gold Mine in South Greenland.
The processing plant is now operating to design specification, with gravity and flotation recovery circuits operating well together.
Amaroq says the first gold concentrate has been produced and bagged, alongside regular doré gold bar pours.
Overall gold recovery is anticipated to increase from 50–70% under the gravity-only circuit to 90–95% following the commissioning of the flotation circuit, materially enhancing gold production from the same ore feed.
FY2026 gold production guidance ranges from 25,000 to 35,000 ounces, with H1 2026 production expected to range from 7,000 to 10,000 ounces.
CEO Eldur Olafsson says the latest milestone enables the company to increase expected gold recoveries from the 61% achieved in Q1 to 90–95% for the remainder of the year.
“This increases confidence in our annual guidance range, which was contingent on the timing of the successful start-up of flotation recovery,” Olafsson says.
Amaroq is focused on identifying, acquiring, exploring, and developing gold and strategic metal properties in South Greenland.
The Nalunaq Mine is located 30km northeast of Nanortalik, Greenland. The project was acquired by the company in 2015 and has since expanded its resource base, incorporated a new geological model, and built a new winterised camp to allow year-round operations.
