Aldoro Resources Limited (ASX: ARN) has announced that it has intersected massive sulphides from its first drill hole at the VC1 target at its Narndee Igneous Complex in Western Australia.

Diamond hole NDD0001
The diamond hole was the first drilled by Aldoro on the project, and the first drilled in the area in nearly a decade. The company reports that NDD0001, which was intended to test the central strongest section of the VC1 EM conductor, intersected 1.7m of massive to semi-massive sulphide. This result indicates that the selected drilling direction at the VC1 target is correct, and will make future grid drilling relatively straightforward.
Narndee Igneous Complex
The Narndee Igneous Complex, located 90km south-south-west of Mount Magnet in Western Australia is a large layered mafic-ultramafic complex covering ~700km².
Historic exploration has focused primarily on PGM mineralisation, with historic drill results delivering indications of nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation.
An airborne EM survey was carried-out over the complex in 2008 by Maximus Resources which resulted in the identification of 16 EM targets. Only two of these targets have been drill tested to date.

Aldoro reports that drilling is set to continue at VC1 to delineate and extend mineralisation.
The company is considering recruiting a second diamond drill rig to test other targets including VC3, East1 and VC11, with the potential for an additional RC rig to complete pre collars at VC1 and expedite drilling.
Downhole EM testing is planned to be conducted on NDD0001 before the rig is moved back from NDD0002 to capitalise on the positive visual results.
