ACDC Metals (ASX:ADC) has appointed FTE Drilling USA to complete up to 2,500m of maiden reverse circulation drilling at its Mount Jackson Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, US.
The company is seeking permits for about 15 holes across the Pegasus and 3 Shaft zones, with drilling targeted to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 following site works and regulatory approvals.
Before drilling, KLM Geoscience will begin a controlled-source audio magnetotelluric (CSAMT) survey in September. The survey will cover 12 line kilometres across both zones to refine targets identified through recent aeromagnetic and radiometric work.
CEO Tom Davidson says the geophysical program will help the exploration team rank targets ahead of drilling.
“The CSAMT program starts in September and will provide the team with better information to refine and prioritise drill targets,” Davidson says.
At Pegasus, drilling will test extensions to known gold–silver mineralisation to the north, east, and south. Recent rock chip sampling returned grades of up to 2.35g/t gold.
Historical drilling at Pegasus was typically less than 150m deep, with ACDC reporting that many holes ended in mineralisation. The company intends to test beneath and around those earlier intercepts.
The campaign will also deliver the first drilling at the 3 Shaft Zone, where rock chip sampling near historical mine workings returned up to 14.9% copper and 17.7 parts per million silver.
Environmental permitting is underway with the US Bureau of Land Management. Existing access roads and previously cleared drill pads are expected to reduce the required site works, environmental bond, and rehabilitation costs.
ACDC says it plans to progress permitting and prepare access tracks and drill pads over the next three months. The CSAMT results will be used to refine the proposed holes before the drilling program begins.
Mount Jackson lies within Nevada’s Walker Lane mineral belt. ACDC is also advancing heavy mineral sands and rare earth element projects in Australia alongside its precious metals exploration portfolio.
