Zeus Resources (ASX:ZEU) is set to define and prioritise targets for an upcoming drilling campaign at its wholly owned Casablanca Antimony Project in central Morocco following the completion of a ‘high-resolution’ induced polarisation geophysical survey.
Using a dipole-dipole array configuration, the company surveyed 23 profiles across a 16.15km area to test for potential sulphide-bearing structures, as well as antimony-related lithological boundaries.
The program lasted two weeks, returning datasets for each planned line. Datasets are now being processed and interpreted to enhance understanding of subsurface geology.
Zeus intends to conduct a trenching program following the completion of this and the return of necessary approvals.
Shorter lines were intended to target geochemical interest and terrain-restricted areas, while seven longer profiles narrowed in on regional structures.
Executive Director Hugh Pilgrim says the company has hit a new milestone at the Casablanca Project as it wraps up the geophysical survey.
“The dataset will allow us to integrate geophysical, geochemical, and geological information to define and prioritise drill targets with much greater confidence and will directly inform the trenching program we have scheduled as the next phase of work,” Pilgrim says.
