Zeus Resources (ASX:ZEU) has begun its geophysical program at the Casablanca Antimony Project in Morocco to streamline the company towards an upcoming drilling program.
The company will cover a length of 16,150m for 23 high-resolution induced polarisation surveys using a dipole-dipole array, all lines spaced 25m apart .
Seven profiles will span 1,050m to target regional structures including faults, lithological boundaries, and alteration corridors, with the remaining 16 profiles covering 550m each.
Shorter profiles will explore targets with strong geochemical anomalies or constrained terrain, furthering Zeus’ understanding of the shallow subsurface with imaging.
Zeus expects to complete the program in two weeks, before processing and analysing data to refine the geological model.
Executive Director Hugh Pilgrim says the company intends to strengthen its geological understanding of the project before setting targets for follow up exploration.
“The commencement of the HRIP survey marks an important step forward for the Casablanca Project,” Pilgrim says.
