At Voltaic's Meekatharra Gold Projects, Western Australia

Voltaic adds Ruby Gem to Meekatharra search

Voltaic Strategic Resources (ASX:VSR) has acquired the Ruby Gem Project for $42,500 and begun field exploration across its wider Meekatharra gold portfolio in Western Australia.

The company has purchased a 100% interest in granted prospecting licences P51/3399 and P51/3400 from privately owned Complete Prospecting.

The transaction involves cash consideration of $42,500 and has no conditions precedent.

Ruby Gem expands Voltaic’s landholding within the Murchison Goldfields, an established mining district containing historical and operating gold mines and processing infrastructure.

The project hosts historical workings that will provide an initial focus for geological assessment and surface sampling.

Voltaic says it has mobilised two contract field geologists to undertake mapping, reconnaissance, and surface sampling across the Meekatharra tenure. The work includes first-pass exploration at Ruby Gem and investigation of targets identified through earlier desktop studies.

Initial activities are focused around the Bundie Bore tenure, where Voltaic says its desktop studies identified several gold and copper anomalies requiring field assessment.

The broader portfolio also includes the NOA Corridor and El Dinero exploration areas.

The NOA Corridor extends north from the Burnakura gold mining area, while El Dinero contains historical workings and previously identified soil and rock-chip geochemical anomalies.

Chairman Daniel Raihani says the acquisition supports the company’s strategy of building a focused WA gold portfolio.

“Importantly, we are now on the ground undertaking first-pass exploration across the portfolio,” Raihani says.

“This work is designed to systematically assess the priority targets identified from our recent desktop studies and, subject to results, define targets for follow-up exploration and potential drilling.”

Voltaic says positive results from the early-stage field program could provide a pathway towards its maiden drilling programs in the Meekatharra region.

Voltaic Strategic Resources is an Australian explorer with a portfolio of gold and critical metals projects in Western Australia.
