Volt Resources (ASX:VRC) has become a member of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the Alabama Mobility and Power (AMP) Consortium, strengthening the company’s critical minerals supply chain strategy.
These memberships reinforce the company’s commitment to building resilient, innovative, and sustainable supply chains for the global critical mineral industries while furthering its US graphite refinery ambitions.
Memberships in these US consortia provide visibility for the company to prospective customers, partners, and government stakeholders.
Volt, which has a market capitalisation of $18.74 million, says the company is now one of the few ASX-listed resource developers operating within US national-security-linked supply chain initiatives.
The company notes the positioning supports Volt’s strategy to develop a US-based graphite refinery through its subsidiary, Volt Energy Materials, headquartered in Alabama. The project is progressing towards pilot plant trials, potential offtake agreements, and engagement with US Government facilitation programs.
