Checking samples at the Vizsla Copper Palmer VMS Project in Alaska, US

Vizsla Copper intersects ‘high-grade’ copper equivalent

Vizsla Copper (TSX‑V:VCU) reports ‘high-grade’ copper results from its ongoing 12,250m diamond drill program at the Palmer Copper‑Zinc VMS Project in southeast Alaska, US.

Hole CMR26‑199 returned 49.2m grading 3.05% copper (Cu), 4.85% zinc (Zn), 21.88 grams per tonne silver (Ag), and 0.33g/t gold (Au) for 4.7% copper equivalent (CuEq) from 305.0m to 354.2m.

The intersection includes 27.0m grading 5.46% Cu, 8.55% Zn, 39.12g/t Ag, and 0.58g/t Au for 8.4% CuEq within the ‘high‑grade’ core.

Hole CMR26‑201 tested the ‘high‑grade’ core approximately 50m downdip and returned 40.4m grading 2.14% Cu, 2.43% Zn, 17.28g/t Ag, and 0.21g/t Au for 3% CuEq from 349.3m to 389.7m.

The results confirm the continuity of the ‘high‑grade’ copper core within South Wall Zone 1 and extend the mineralised system downdip.

“These high-grade copper results over broad intervals further demonstrate the exceptional potential of this project and the opportunity to build on the existing resource base,” CEO Craig Parry says.

Senior Vice President Alaska Peter Mercer says the Zone 1 drilling “achieved exactly what it was designed to accomplish — confirming the high-grade copper core and demonstrating its downdip continuity.”

The mineralisation in both holes is characterised by semi‑massive to massive sulphide intervals containing chalcopyrite and sphalerite, with associated silver and gold values.

Two diamond drill rigs are currently operating at the HG prospect and the Palmer Extension target.
