Victory Goldfields (ASX:1VG) has formally changed its name and rebranded to Victory Metals (ASX:VTM) with the new code ‘VTM’ on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
The company says the name change has been completed by Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and it took effect today (24 November).
Victory Metals is an Australian emerging multi-commodity exploration company based in Perth, Western Australia focused on the exploration and development of its projects in the Cue goldfields region 665km northeast from Perth.
The company has built a portfolio of assets in this region comprising 50 tenements with an area of around 7,520 hectares and a further 7 tenement applications with an area of around 1,060 hectares.
Assets held by the company include the Coodardy Deposit located 30km northwest of Cue, the Emily Wells Prospect, the Eaglehawk Project and the Tuckanarra (Nemesis) Project.

Other assets held by Victory includes the Young Australia Project, the Mafeking, Monte Carlo and Lady Godiva tenements, the Klondyke Project and the Buttercup-King Billy tenements.
Victory states its tenements have only been sporadically explored in the past for reasons including drilling access restrictions, tenements with different owners unable to conduct holistic exploration programs and a lack of resources for previous holders of the company’s tenements.
The company notes it will use modern techniques to compile a regional geophysical and geological framework for its tenements to highlight areas that are poorly or underexplored to reveal new targets.
