Tivan introduces leadership team to steer Speewah

Tivan (ASX:TVN) has finalised its new leadership team to better suit the company’s operational capabilities and steer the recent joint venture with Sumitomo Corporation on its Speewah Fluorite Project.

Several promotions have been awarded to advance professional development, reflecting on individual performance within the company. The board says it is committed to promoting from within, amplifying firm-wide culture and to sustain long-term development of the company.

Former CFO Jason Giltay will now continue operations as the Chief Commercial Officer of Tivan. Giltay has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, commercial management, business strategy, and investor relations, with his industry experience ranging from greenfields exploration and development planning, to project delivery and operations.

Prior to joining Tivan, Giltay worked for a number of companies in the resources sector including Swick Mining Services and Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR).

With over 20 years of experience in financial management within the resources sector, General Manager in Finance Tammie Dixon has been promoted as the new CFO. Dixon played a key role in the development and construction of Karlawinda Gold Project as the CFO at Capricorn Metals (ASX:CMM).

Project Manager Michael Christ has been promoted to Project Director as a reflection of his work in resources, oil and gas, and water and power generation projects along with his previous work with Tivan as a client.

Process Manager Brendon Nicol will progress in the company as the Technical Director. Nicol is an experienced process engineer, working closely on the development of different projects and managing metallurgical testwork.

Former Head of Northern Australia Ellin Lede will now continue operations as the Chief Development Officer. Prior to joining Tivan, Lede amassed over 15 years of experience including serving the Northern Territory Chief Minister as Policy Director and Advisor.

The board has also announced Senior Geologist Michael Fuss will move to the position of Principal Geologist, Process Engineer Alex Botterill will now become the Process Manager, and Commercial Manager Maddalyn McBeath will be promoted to  Commercial Manager.

Executive Chairman Grant Wilson says the company has spent the past two years crafting a “world-class” team and company of “strategic importance” across northern Australia. The executive Chairman will be responsible for delegating functional authorities to the new team to advance the company’s overall mission.

“In doing so, we have provided a unique opportunity for a select group of young Australians to come together, to excel and to rapidly advance their careers,” Wilson says.

“The board is delighted today to recognise the outstanding contributions that have been made, and to prepare the company as we move towards the project delivery phase.”

Tivan is a diversified critical minerals company dedicated to promoting strategic importance across northern Australia.
