Stallion Uranium (TSX-V:STUD) has defined five priority drill target areas along the Coyote corridor at its Moonlite Uranium Project in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Coyote forms part of Stallion’s southwestern Athabasca Basin joint venture (JV) with Atha Energy (TSX-V:SASK).
The targets, labelled A–E, were generated by integrating results from an expanded ground gravity survey with electromagnetic, magnetic, and structural data.
The two-phase gravity program extended coverage eastwards across the remainder of an interpreted conductive corridor, beyond the area surveyed in 2025. The company says it identified several additional gravity-low anomalies associated with electromagnetic conductors previously mapped through MobileMT, HeliSam, and ground time-domain electromagnetic surveys.
Several anomalies occur near interpreted structural intersections and graphitic conductive horizons.
Gravity lows can indicate density reductions associated with hydrothermal alteration or structural disruption. Stallion says it considers them prospective for uranium mineralisation when they coincide with conductors and fault intersections, although the targets require drilling to determine whether mineralisation is present.
Convolutions Geoscience completed a three-dimensional inversion of the gravity data to estimate subsurface density variations. The resulting model suggests several of the gravity-low features extend beneath the unconformity and coincide with interpreted basement structures.
CEO Matthew Schwab says combining the different geophysical datasets has increased the number of targets and refined the company’s geological model for the corridor.
“The integration of multiple independent geophysical data sets continues to refine drill targeting while systematically reducing geological risk across the Coyote corridor,” Schwab says.
Stallion says it plans to use the updated model to select future drill collar locations, prioritising areas where gravity lows coincide with conductive trends and interpreted basement structures.
Stallion and Atha hold around 1,700km² of exploration tenure through their JV in the western Athabasca Basin.
