Sinclair Gold (ASX:SGC) has extended gold mineralisation beyond the existing resource at the Selene and Mt Henry deposits within its Mt Henry Gold Project in Western Australia.
At Selene, step-out drilling extended the interpreted down-dip extent of mineralisation by a further 125m to about 600m. Drilling at Mt Henry also extended mineralisation in several areas, with the central zone increasing by about 150% to 250m below the historical open pit.
Latest Selene results include 33.2m @ 1.6 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) from 230.7m, including 22.3m @ 2g/t Au, and 24.1m @ 0.9g/t Au from 204m, including 15.1m @ 1g/t Au.
These build on previously reported intersections of 28.6m @ 2g/t Au, 26.9m @ 1.6g/t Au, and 39.7m @ 0.9g/t Au.
At Mt Henry, Sinclair says drilling intersected multiple banded iron formation horizons beyond the current resource. Results include 17m @ 1.5g/t Au from 180m and 7m @ 2.8g/t Au from 285.9m.
Reported intersections are generally downhole widths, with true widths undetermined for most holes.
CEO Jeff Sansom says the results support Sinclair’s strategy to expand the project’s resource.
“These latest strong assays show that we are continuing to extend the known mineralisation as part of our strategy to grow the 915,000oz resource,” Sansom says.
The Mt Henry Gold Project, located 20km south of Norseman, hosts a mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 24 million tonnes @ 1.20g/t Au for 915,000 ounces across the Selene, Mt Henry, and North Scotia deposits.
Sinclair commenced a 50,000m drilling program in March 2026 and currently has four diamond rigs operating. Assays remain pending for 17 holes.
Supported by a recent $30 million capital raise, the company expects to deliver an updated MRE in the December 2026 quarter.
