Rokeby readies for Hurricane via capital raise

Rokeby Resources (ASX:RKB) is conducting a placement seeking to raise $1.7 million to fund exploration and follow-up drilling at the group’s Hurricane Project in Queensland.

Under the placement, 191.02 million shares will be issued at $0.009 per share, representing a 18.8% discount to the last sales price on 15 August 2025.

Morgans Corporate will act as lead manager to the placement.

The funds will also provide general working capital, as well as to meet the costs associated with the placement.

CEO Trevor Benson says the support enables the company to expedite exploration at the gold and antimony Hurricane Project.

The Hurricane Project, located in the Hodgkinson Province of northeastern Queensland, has mineralisation consistent with sediment-hosted orogenic gold systems, marked by a core antimony-arsenic-gold-silver geochemical signature.

Rokeby Resources, previously known as Inca Minerals, is a mineral explorer focused on gold and antimony discoveries in Australia.

According to the World Gold Council, gold has continued a record setting pace during the first half of this year, rising 26% in US dollar terms. Gold’s spot price sat at US$3,314.3 ($5,139.12) per ounce as of 10am AEST this morning.

Antimony’s price has also experienced a surge, sitting at an average of US$23,403 per tonne, as reported by the Shanghai Metals Market.
