Rockets and Tanks: Traka’s shares climb 100%

There was a lot of movement on the ASX across the mining sector on Tuesday, including junior explorer Traka Resources (ASX:TKL), which saw its share price climb 100% to $0.002. 

Traka Resources has not released any news on the ASX since 28 June when it announced a completed capital raising had brought in $690,000 to support a rare earths and niobium acquisition in Mozambique. 

Gold and copper-focused explorer Killi Resources’ (ASX:KLI) share price also soared, climing 74.41% to $0.075 after confirming “high-grade” copper and gold at the Kaa target, within the Mt Rawdon West Project. 

Killi, which has a market capitalisation of $5.16 million, received assays from surface rock chip samples which returned up to 238 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 2.1% copper, and 513g/t silver. 

Uranium-vanadium explorer Moab Minerals’ (ASX:MOM) share price jumped 33.33% to $0.004, amid completion of an acquisition of advanced uranium assets in Tanzania. 

The company announced yesterday it had completed the acquisition of 81.85% of shares in privately held Linx Resources, which owns the Manyoni and Octavo Uranium projects, encompassing 216km2

Meanwhile, gold explorer Pacgold’s (ASX:PGO) share price increased 30.76% to $0.170 on the back of no news. 

Pacgold, which has a market capitalisation of $10.93 million, is focused on progressing its flagship Alice River Gold Project in North Queensland. 

Tankers

Gold explorer and developer Classic Minerals (ASX:CLZ) has seen a 50% decrease in its share price to $0.001 on the back of no news. 

Prodigy Gold’s (ASX:PRX) shares have also fallen 33.33% to $0.002. 

On 5 July, the greenfields and brownfields explorer announced it had returned up to 182g/t gold in rock chips from its Reynolds Range Project. 

Antilles Gold’s (ASX:AAU) share price dropped 25% to $0.003 on the back of no news. 

The gold and copper-focused company is currently advancing its projects in Cuba. 

Further, Altair Minerals’ (ASX:ALR) shares dipped 20% to $0.004. The company has not released any news since 3 July on the appointment of advisors to strengthen its plans at Olympic Domain.
