Revival Gold (TSX-V:RVG) has reported a broad gold intercept from the Joss area of its Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project in Idaho, US.
Hole BT26-255D returned 131.7m @ 3.43 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 543.2m downhole, including 42.5m @ 6.56g/t Au from 632.4m.
The interval also contained 12.1m @ 11.58g/t Au from 639.3m. True widths are estimated at 40–50% of drilled widths.
Revival Gold says the result forms part of its 5,500m drilling program, designed to test extensions to the underground sulphide resource at Joss, which was last drilled in 2022.
The 42.5m interval was intersected about 70m above hole BT22-242D and 150m below BT21-240D. Revival says the continuity and geometry seen in BT26-255D are comparable with BT21-240D and may mark the beginning of a north-plunging mineralised shoot.
Further drilling to the northeast is warranted to determine the shoot’s extent, according to the company.
CEO Hugh Agro says the result is among the ‘highest-grade-thickness’ intercepts drilled at Joss.
“BT26-255D’s 6.6 g/t Au over 42.5m provides compelling evidence in support of the impressive strength of sulphide mineralization at Beartrack-Arnett. The deposit displays true widths of 2–20m in the high-grade mineralised zone and remains open at depth and beyond its existing 1.2km of known mineralised strike,” Agro says.
“We are grateful for the excellent work performed by our team and our drill contractors, National and Major Drilling, on this year’s program at Joss. Further results are expected in the coming weeks.”
All five primary holes and three wedge holes completed during the program intersected the Panther Creek Shear Zone. Results have been released for six of the eight pierce points, with assays from wedge holes BT26-254DW and BT26-255DW pending.
Joss hosts an underground sulphide inferred mineral resource of 6.75 million tonnes @ 4.05g/t Au for 877,000 ounces. The resource was excluded from the economics of Beartrack-Arnett’s 2023 open pit, heap leach Prefeasibility Study.
Revival is earning a 100% interest in Beartrack-Arnett.
