Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has acquired the Johnson Creek Tungsten and Antimony Mill that sits adjacent to its Horse Heaven Project in Idaho, US.
The newly acquired mill comes with associated infrastructure and 2,000 tonnes of tungsten ore stockpiles, sourced from the former Golden Gate Mine.
Resolution says this acquisition intends to strengthen the company’s positioning as a US-focused critical minerals company by advancing its in-house processing capability for antimony, tungsten, and gold.
The company is focused on conducting detailed engineering and refurbishment assessments at the mill, along with metallurgical testwork and processing studies, evaluating the stockpiled tungsten ore, advancing permitting and development pathways, and progressing strategic partnerships.
Managing Director Ari Zaetz says the acquisition is a “pivotal” step in the company’s production strategy for US-based critical minerals.
“Securing processing location alongside our Horse Heaven Project significantly accelerates our pathway toward planned antimony and tungsten production and strengthens our ability to support Western supply chain security,” Zaetz says.
Resolution says the Golden Gate Tungsten Mine hosts the potential to expand mineralisation along strike to the north and south parallel to the Golden Gate Fault.
Resolution Minerals is a precious and battery metals explorer focused on acquiring and developing antimony, gold, copper, and uranium projects in Australia and the US.
