Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has been accepted into the US Defense Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC), providing access to government funding programs for its antimony and tungsten projects.
The company joins approximately 1,500 member organisations in the consortium, which operates under the US Department of Defense to strengthen domestic supply chains for critical materials.
Resolution has submitted a funding application related to its tungsten development strategy and is evaluating additional opportunities for its antimony initiatives.
“Resolution’s acceptance into the DIBC represents an important milestone in our strategy to help establish secure domestic supplies of antimony and tungsten in the United States,” CEO of US Operations Craig Lindsay says.
The consortium was established to strengthen US supply chain resilience, support Defense Production Act (DPA) investments, accelerate commercialisation of innovative technologies, and facilitate participation by non-traditional suppliers in the defence market.
Resolution’s Horse Heaven Project in Idaho targets antimony and tungsten, both recognised as critical minerals by the US Government due to their importance in defence, aerospace, energy, and advanced manufacturing applications.
The company’s drilling program at Horse Heaven is progressing as planned, designed to advance understanding of the project’s antimony and tungsten potential and support future development planning.
Resolution Minerals plans to broaden its engagement with government agencies, members of Congress, industry players, and defence organisations. The aim is to reinforce the strategic case for developing domestic critical mineral supplies.
The company is assessing a range of funding opportunities and strategic partnerships — all aimed at accelerating development of the company’s critical minerals portfolio.
