Q2 Metals eyes Cisco’s resource growth potential

Q2 Metals (TSX-V:QTWO) has extended the timeline for completing the resource estimate of the Cisco Lithium Project in Québec, Canada, amid conducting an ongoing drilling program.

The 2026 drill program is focused on infill drilling within the mineralised zone that spans 1.5km along the northeast-southwest trending strike length identified at the Cisco Project. To date, 37,372m across 83 holes has been completed, with analytical results pending on all holes.

Q2 Metals reports that robust intervals are continuing to increase the extent of known mineralisation, with hole CS25-071 encountering eight spodumene pegmatite intervals, with the widest continuous interval of 264.6m, followed by an additional 152.9m of continuous spodumene pegmatite.

Hole CS25-074 encountered five spodumene pegmatite intervals, with the widest continuous interval of 202.7m, followed by an additional 96.8m interval.

Meanwhile, hole CS26-077 encountered two spodumene pegmatites, with the widest continuous interval of 107.8m.

Vice President of Exploration Neil McCallum says drilling has shown “strong” continuity of spodumene-bearing pegmatite across the mineralised zone, with multiple wide intervals reinforcing the scale of the system.

“With assays pending for the most recent holes, geological logging confirms that the mineralisation is extending beyond the current modelled limits, both laterally and at depth,” McCallum says.

“We are excited to test other target areas outside of the main mineralised zone which we believe have the potential to contribute meaningfully to future resource growth.”

As reported in late February 2026, Q2 Metals sees a potential for a higher grade portion with the existing mineralised zone at Cisco, after receiving results from a 2025 drill program.

Some of the results included 40.1m @ 2.89% lithium oxide and 215.6m @ 1.69% lithium oxide, including 64.6m @ 2.29% lithium oxide.

The Cisco Lithium Project has district-scale potential with an initial exploration target estimating a range of potential lithium mineralisation of 215-329 million tonnes @ 1-1.38% lithium oxide based only on the first 40 holes drilled.

Q2 Metals is a junior explorer focused on advancing its flagship Cisco Project within the greater Nemaska traditional territory of the Eeyou Istchee, James Bay region of Québec, Canada.
