PC Gold (ASX:PC2) has intersected ‘high grade’ gold from an ongoing resource definition drilling campaign at the Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory.
The company has observed visible gold in five resource definition holes, located both within and outside of the current resource estimate envelope. Mineralised zones extend for widths of 30m downhole.
To date, PC Gold has completed 26 holes across 7,137m at Spring Hill. The drilling campaign intends to target mineralisation beneath the planned open pit location as well as within the inferred area of the resource estimate.
Intersections include 2.8m @ 15.21 grams per tonne gold from 1.7m downhole, including 0.3m @ 124.12g/t gold within 13m, 31m @ 1.92g/t gold from 75m, including 11m @ 3.33g/t gold, and 14m @ 3.55g/t gold from 243m, including 4.84m @ 9.03g/t gold from 252.16m.
PC Gold is currently logging and cutting the final two drillholes for this exploration campaign, before being submitted for photon assay. The company has submitted 5,100 samples for assaying so far.
Two diamond drillrigs are currently operating on site, with a reverse circulation drill rig to come back on site in early February 2026.
Executive Chair Ashley Pattison says the company is encouraged with these recent results which appears to identify a “new high grade zone at Macau, together with close-to-surface visible gold at Hong Kong, located north of the current proposed pit shell”.
“Since mid-2025, our drilling campaign has completed more than 16,000m of diamond and reverse circulation drilling,” Pattison says.
“The success of our step-out exploration programs late in 2025 has exceeded expectations and we are very excited with the discovery of a high-grade link zone within the inferred portion of the Macau and Hong Kong lodes providing particularly exciting results.
“These outcomes further reinforce our confidence in the strength and continuity of the Spring Hill mineralised system and highlight the potential to enhance both the quality and scale of the mineral resource as we progress toward the upcoming mineral resource estimate.”
