PC Gold unlocks historic adit access

PC Gold (ASX:PC2) has received all approvals needed to re-open a historical underground adit at the wholly owned Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory.

The adit is on the eastern side of Spring hole and totals approximately 427m, intersecting the east, middle, and main lodes of mineralisation around the eastern side of the anticline.

Executive Chair Ashley Pattison says that these final approvals for the Spring Hill adit is a “major milestone” for the company providing them with a cost-effective method for underground diamond drilling to test extensions and improve their understanding of the various lodes.

“Portal refurbishment and adit re-entry is expected to be completed within a fortnight, after which the company will commence detailed underground mapping and sampling. This work will be integrated with existing drilling to design a targeted underground diamond drilling program,” Pattison says.

“Our aspiration is to delineate a high-grade mineral resource that demonstrates the potential for early high-grade production at Spring Hill and can be integrated into the development plan for a much broader resource base.”

Underground drilling at the adit is expected to improve the company’s geological confidence of the ‘high-grade’ zones at Spring Hill that will be targeted for incremental ore to supplement the open pit mine plan.

The portal refurbishment and adit re-entry are expected to be complete within the next few weeks, allowing PC Gold to begin underground mapping, sampling, and drill planning.

PC Gold is a gold exploration and development company focused on bringing its flagship Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory into production.

The company is attending the RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle, Western Australia, held from 17-19 February 2026.
