PC Gold (ASX:PC2) is looking to build market awareness and credibility at the RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle this year, Executive Chairman Ashley Pattison tells Mining.com.au.
“For first-timers, RIU is a tight space in the best way – it puts you in close proximity to your peers and creates real opportunities to share insights on how projects are progressing, what challenges people are facing, and what’s working well,” Pattison says.
“For us as a newly listed company, it’s also a chance to quickly build relationships through face-to-face meetings with brokers, investors and peers, and introduce the work we’ve been advancing privately for a number of years.”
PC Gold is presenting at 4.10pm AWST on the opening day of the conference, which is held from 17-19 February at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges in Western Australia.
As reported by Mining.com.au, the company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange mid-last year, exceeding the minimum $10 million requirement for the initial public offering (IPO).
On 13 August 2025, PC Gold lodged the prospectus with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) in relation to the offering of 60 million shares at $0.25 per share to raise between $10 million and $15 million.
Pattison explains that the company’s RIU presentation will focus on its drilling campaigns at the Spring Hill Project in the Northern Territory after listing on the ASX, as well as potential implications of the Photon re-assaying program on the project’s resource estimate, and more on the newly identified Macau–Hong Kong link zone.
“It’s also a chance to share the progress we’ve already made advancing the project privately and outline the key milestones we’re driving toward next,” Pattison says.
“Looking ahead to 2026, the market can expect continued execution and strong newsflow, including the potential for multiple upgrades to the Spring Hill mineral resource estimate.
“We’ll also be progressing work on processing options and broader feasibility activities, alongside the continuation of our exploration drilling program as we work toward the 1-2 million ounce exploration target we outlined as part of the IPO.”
The company returned its highest intercept to date at Spring Hill earlier this month, unveiling an intersection of 25m @ 36.83 grams per tonne gold from 283m, including 2m @ 444.3g/t gold from 304m at the Macau and Hong Kong lodes, as reported.
The results follow gold highs, when the precious metal broke its spot price record with over US$5,608 ($8,084) on Thursday 29 January 2026. Gold tumbled by more than 8% on the following day, according to Trading Economics.
As of 6 February 2026, gold is priced at US$4,810, representing a 68.27% increase for this year over year.
Pattison tells this news service that the company remains hopeful for the gold sector in 2026, with elevated prices leading to “significant” cash for producers, driving M&A activity led by larger companies.
“That environment is generally supportive for quality developers and explorers with scale, strong fundamentals and clear pathways to growth,” Pattison adds.
PC Gold will be attending the RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle, Western Australia, held between 17-19 February 2026. Mining.com.au is a media partner for this conference.
