PC Gold (ASX:PC2) has received assays for the final diamond holes drilled at the newly discovered Hong Kong-Macau link, part of the wholly owned Spring Hill Gold Project.
Five diamond drill holes over 225m of strike have intersected visible gold within a consistent hematite-magnetite structure
As previously reported, the Hong Kong and Macau lodes comprise approximately 86% of the current mineral resource estimate (MRE). To date, these lodes have been assessed for bulk tonnage open pit mining.
Key results include 4.5m @ 28.36 grams per tonne gold from 328m, together with 10.7m @ 2.95g/t gold from 294m; 19.9m @ 3.81g/t gold from 240m, including 3.2m @ 15.57g/t gold, as well as 2.0m @ 11.29g/t gold and 2.2m @ 7.9g/t gold.
Executive Chair Ashely Pattison says that these new results continue to support the ‘high-grade’ discovery at the Macau Zone.
“The Link Zone is currently interpreted to extend over approximately 225m of strike and 300m down dip, with drilling to date defining a consistent mineralised width of approximately 15m,” Pattison says.
“The significance of this discovery and returned assay results support a new high-grade domain that is easily accessible from the proposed extension of the historical underground adit at Spring Hill.
“PC Gold will continue to focus on defining the scale of this new high-grade domain and assessing its potential to be incorporated into the mine plan as part of the ongoing feasibility study.”
PC Gold will be progressing the Macau Link Zone as a new ‘high-grade’ domain in the MRE update. Next steps include the commencement of an eight-hole diamond drilling program to test up and down-dip extensions.
The company will also progress planning for underground infill drilling from the existing adit, with work scheduled for the June 2026 quarter. They will also continue the geological wireframing and resource modelling of the Macau Link Zone as they receive additional assay results.
Finally, PC Gold will assess the potential for underground and open pit mining option as the adit refurbishment and resource modelling advance.
PC Gold is a gold exploration and development company, focused on the Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory.
