PC Gold (ASX:PC2) is extending the boundary of its Spring Hill Gold Project, 20km north of Pine Creek.
PC Gold made the decision after drilling 11 new holes, four of which showed ‘high-grade’ gold mineralisation beyond the existing resource wireframes. Assay results from a further seven holes in the main zone south extension are still pending and will be reported once received.
Significant intercepts include 9m at 3.26 grams per tonne of gold from 338m, 13.4m at 2.86 g/t of gold from 187.6m, and 10.2m at 1.61 g/t of gold from 385m. The company previously reported an intercept of 14m at 3.55 g/t gold at 313m.
The mineral resource estimate was 821,000 gold ounces at the time of publication. The site sits within the broader Pine Creek province, which contains deposits of more than 20 million gold ounces.
The company is confident that the discovery reinforces a potentially “larger, higher-grade inventory” as the project approaches the feasibility stage.
“The most encouraging outcome from the program was the delivery of high-grade results both within the current wireframes and outside those wireframes, in many cases significantly exceeding the grades in the existing block model,” PC Gold says.
“This was particularly evident in the Macau zone, which has now been extended down dip by approximately 140 metres following drilling in holes SDH25-029 and SDH25-019A. Both holes intersected high-grade mineralisation outside the current MRE.”
CUBE Consulting has been chosen to help prepare the mineral resource estimate. CUBE consultants will add the latest results to an updated estimate.
JT Metallurgical Services and Euronext Paris-listed Bureau Veritas (BVI) have been engaged to perform pre-feasibility metallurgical testing work. Previous metallurgical tests show up to 96% total gold recovery with strong gravity response exceeding 50%.
A reverse circulation drill rig is expected to carry out complete infill drilling at the Macau extension during April 2026. The rig will later move to phase two of the Lasagne Lode infill program then the northern target.
“Spring Hill’s high-grade core extends well beyond the current resource footprint,” PC Gold says.
“The success of our step-out exploration programs in late 2025 and into 2026 has well exceeded our expectations, and we are excited by the discovery of the high-grade link zone outside the inferred portion of the Macau and Hong Kong lodes.”
