Steve Boston has joined North Stawell Minerals’ (ASX:NSM) board of directors as a senior advisor, taking effect yesterday (7 July).
Boston has accumulated more than 30 years of experience within the sector, as a stockbroker and Principal at a private investment group focused on the resources industry with an Australian Financial Services Licence.
Over a 15-year tenure with Catalyst Metals (ASX:CYL), Boston played a key role in the recapitalisation of the company as a non-executive Chairman, also driving gold discoveries and securing strategic partnerships.
Catalyst saw its market capitalisation expand from roughly $1.5 million at the start of Boston’s tenure in 2008 to more than $250 million by 2020, highlighting his importance on the board.
CEO Campbell Olsen says Boston’s experience and expertise within the financial side of the Australian resources sector aligns with the company’s vision to develop the Stawell Corridor.
“At North Stawell Minerals, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and long-term value creation,” Olsen says.
“The addition of Mr Boston – renowned for his ability to attract strategic partners and deliver strong shareholder returns – significantly enhances our capability to unlock the full potential of our asset base.”
North Stawell Minerals is an Australian explorer with a portfolio of gold deposits located in the Stawell Mineralised Corridor in Victoria.
