Battery Age Minerals Falcon Lake Lithium Project

New lithium hits expand Falcon Lake for Battery Age Minerals

Battery Age Minerals (ASX:BM8) says “significant” assays results up to 2.44% lithium from the Falcon Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada, have expanded the project’s mineralisation and enhanced its prospectivity.

Of seven holes at the Falcon Little Lake pegmatite target, six holes intersected mineralisation. These include 28.25m @ 1.30% lithium oxide from 53.9m, including 5.45m @ 2.03%; and 18.4m @ 1.88% lithium oxide, including 5m at 2.44%.

The $10.24 million market capitalised company says the mineralised drill intercepts confirm both the potential for new discoveries and its exploration strategy, as well as setting the stage for future works.

CEO Nigel Broomham says the latest intercepts underscores the high potential of the company’s discoveries.

“The expansion of mineralisation at both the Falcon Little Lake and Falcon East Extension targets demonstrates the potential scale of this system across the 5km corridor,” Broomham says.

“The successful assays from our summer program validate our exploration strategy and provide a solid foundation for our upcoming drilling activities.

“With mineralisation extending in all directions and promising new targets identified, we are confident in our ability to continue making significant progress.”

The Falcon Little Lake spodumene-bearing pegmatite is open in all directions.

Battery Age’s 2024 summer drilling program at Falcon Lake focused on targeting several of the 30 high priority pegmatite discoveries that were uncovered from the 2023 field program. The latest drilling has also expanded on the 9,200m drilling programs undertaken in 2023.

The Falcon Lake Project is considered a highly prospective lithium exploration property that covers 51km2 in Ontario, Canada.

Battery Age Minerals is a battery metal-focused explorer that is rapidly growing the Falcon Lake Project. The company’s project portfolio also includes the Jessie Lake, Tidili, and Bleiberg projects.
