Battery Age flags CEO transition

Battery Age Minerals’ (ASX:BM8) Nigel Broomham will step down as CEO, effective 20 March 2026, with the board commencing a formal search for his successor.

The company says there is no change to near-term priorities, with existing work programs and stakeholder engagements to continue as planned. Broomham will support the leadership transition to ensure a smooth handover.

Non-executive Chairman David Pevcic says during Broomham’s tenure, he has advanced the company’s project portfolio of critical, battery, and precious metals.

“This includes the acquisition and maiden drilling of the El Aguila Gold and Silver Project, advancing the highly prospective Falcon Lake Lithium Project, and completion of maiden drilling at the strategic Bleiberg Zinc–Germanium Project,” Pevcic says.

These achievements have materially strengthened the company’s growth prospects and provide a solid foundation for future exploration and value creation.”

Broomham says serving Battery Age has been a privilege, having first joined as General Manager of Exploration before taking on the CEO role over the past two years.

It has been a privilege to serve Battery Age, firstly as General Manager of Exploration and, over the past two years, as Chief Executive Officer,” Broomham says.

Battery Age Minerals is focused on strategic exploration and responsible development activities across its portfolio of projects considered prospective for critical, battery, and precious metals.
