Nevada Organic Phosphate (CSE:NOP) CEO Robin Dow says the company is taking a “critical step forward” in advancing its 2026 exploration program, following the completion of drill mobilisation at the Murdock Mountain Project in Nevada.
With drill pad preparation finished, Nevada Organic’s contracted drill provider FTE Drilling is ready to begin drilling operations at the project.
As previously reported, the drilling program is designed to extend the geological model along strike, as well as refine structural controls and support future classification work.
The program will also evaluate the strike, thickness, lateral continuity, and grade characteristics of the Meade Peak Upper Phosphate Zone, which outcrops across Murdock Mountain.
Nevada Organic has also brought on Stantec Consulting to its project team. Stantec will serve as the company’s environmental consultant and will work directly with the Bureau of Land Management and relevant Nevada state agencies as Murdock Mountain advances.
Director Garry Smith adds that the company is focusing on executing the program it has planned.
“Each stage of this work builds the technical foundation we need for future decisions and bringing Stantec into the process strengthens our ability to advance the greater project responsibly and efficiently,” Smith says.
Earlier this month, Nevada Organic received three new applications for phosphate processing – adding 6,011 acres of potential resource to its existing Nevagro Permit in the US.
Murdock Mountain hosts a nearly flat-lying sedimentary phosphate horizon within the Meade Peak Formation. The initial 1,813-acre Nevagro Exploration Permit area is interpreted to contain an exploration target mineral inventory of 10 to 46 million tonnes, grading between 3-15% phosphorous pentoxide, based on an average thickness of 3.5m and a specific gravity of 2.6m.
Nevada Organic Phosphate is a junior explorer focused on an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed, 6.6km-long, in northeast Nevada.
