MTM Critical Metals (ASX:MTM), to be renamed Metallium, has appointed Gregory L Bowman to the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Flash Metals USA’s advisory board.
Bowman, who is currently Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of National Security Solutions at Siemens Government Technologies, is a recognised expert in defence, public-private partnerships, and critical mineral supply chains.
As strategic advisor, Bowman will bring deep expertise across national security, critical infrastructure, and public-private industrial policy.
The company says he will advise Flash Metals’ President Steve Ragiel on US strategy, including onshoring of advanced critical metals refining using Flash Joule Heating, partnership development and stakeholder mapping, as well as funding opportunities.
Bowman will also advise strategic alignment with US Government programs, and industry engagement across the defence, aerospace, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
CEO Michael Walshe says Bowman brings an unparalleled combination of strategic vision, national security expertise and a deep understanding of how partnerships can expedite advanced manufacturing and critical minerals processing in the US.
“Flash Metals USA is scaling a modular, onshore technology platform to help secure the supply of rare earths and strategic metals for US industry and defence, and Greg’s guidance will be instrumental in shaping our engagement with US stakeholders, programmatic funding channels, and federal industrial policy,” Walshe says.
Bowman adds that Flash Metals’ technology offers an innovative and scalable solution aligned with national priorities.

Flash Metals USA, based in Houston, Texas, is commercialising the Flash Joule Heating process, which is a patented ultra-fast, selective thermal method to recover critical and strategic metals from waste and ore without acids or smelting.
