Moho Resources (ASX:MOH) has completed phase one drilling at its Bush Chook Gold Project in Western Australia, defining two shallow, multi-lode gold systems across more than 600m of combined strike.
The inaugural reverse circulation drilling program intersected gold mineralisation above a 0.5 grams per tonne gold (Au) cut-off in 70% of holes. Four lodes at the Gage Road and CBco prospects remain open along strike and down dip.
Gage Road hosts two lodes defined over 200m of strike. Results include 14m @ 1.04g/t Au from 13m and 5m @ 1.53g/t Au from 30m, including 2m @ 2.96g/t Au from 32m.
At CBco, two lodes have been defined over 420m of strike. Intercepts include 15m @ 0.84g/t Au from 64m, including 9m @ 1.06g/t Au from 65m, and 2m @ 1.27g/t Au from 31m, including 1m @ 1.97g/t Au from 31m.
Chairman Peter Christie says Moho plans to conduct wide-spaced drilling along the structures to test for “thicker, higher-grade” mineralisation.
“With the Palyku-Jartayi Heritage Agreement now in place, we also plan to drill test the high-priority Emu and Bright Tank prospects, as well as potentially new prospects identified through our recent soil sampling programs,” Christie says.
The agreement has opened access to the remaining 80% of Bush Chook.
Emu comprises a 200m-long outcropping gossanous quartz vein, with rock chip samples averaging 5.9g/t Au across a 100m section and returning up to 13.4g/t Au.
Bright Tank hosts two clusters of outcropping mineralisation along a 600m trend. Rock chip assays reached 4.12g/t Au in the Southwest Zone and 12.7g/t Au in the Northeastern Zone.
Meanwhile, regional sampling returned more than 10 parts per billion Au in 1,516 of 4,948 soil samples, including 19 samples above 1g/t Au across multiple anomalies.
Phase two mapping, rock chip sampling, and target refinement are underway, with drilling scheduled to resume in the December quarter.
