Maverick Gold increases Silver Vista’s size by more than 40%

Maverick Gold and Silver (CSE:MAV) has increased the size of its Silver Vista Project in British Columbia, Canada, by 42%.

This news comes after the company received formal confirmation from the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals’ Mine Competitiveness and Authorisation Division that an additional five mineral claims were applied, adjoining the Silver Vista Project.

Silver Vista now comprises 17 mineral claims and covers 6,444.5 hectares. The new claims cover two historical soil anomalies that appear to have not had additional follow-up work completed on them.

Each anomaly is located near Eocene-aged porphyritic rocks that either intrude Jurassic-aged sedimentary and volcanic rocks or overlie Cretaceous-aged volcanic rocks.

The new claims are prospective for copper and silver as the geological environment is similar to that surrounding the MR showing, which has been tested with 4,034m of drilling. Maverick Gold intends to conduct follow-up drilling in this area.

The company is currently preparing for a fully funded drilling program, expected to begin next month.

Maverick Gold and Silver is an explorer focused on a portfolio of gold, silver, and copper properties.
