Many Peaks volumises Ferké’s mineralisation width

Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) has extended mineralisation with an increasing width of 26% following completion of seven diamond drillholes at the Ferké Gold Project.

The company has completed over 11,200m of diamond drilling for 41 holes since the program’s commencement in April, as well as another 3,300m of the planned 6,000m reconnaissance reverse circulation drilling.

Results from the seven diamond drillholes include 55m @ 1.94 grams per tonne gold from 68m including 4m @ 10.03g/t gold from 76m and 87m @ 1.67g/t gold from 221m including 29m @ 3.46g/t gold from 224m.

These drillholes spanning 1,845m of the campaign increase the volume of mineralisation, including disseminated sulphide mineralisation, from infill and extension drilling over 300m along strike.

Managing Director Travis Schwertfeger says drillhole FNDC041, which returned 89m @ 0.92g/t gold including 12m @ 1.48g.t gold from surface, intersected a 95m true width zone of mineralised intrusion, representing a 26% increase to the previous intercept.

The company previously reported 47m @ 4.72g/t gold from surface in March 2024.

“These latest results from Ferké are particularly encouraging, in addition to further examples of gold grades increasing with depth, the results also deliver marked increases in volume in both extension and infill drilling, adding to the viability of a bulk tonnage target evolving at Ferké,” Schwertfeger says.

Results from 23 drillholes of diamond drilling are still pending, as well as drilling results from its reverse circulation program, which began in May and is yet to be completed.

Many Peaks Minerals is focused on advancing its portfolio of gold and copper assets in West Africa.
